Wyndham Grand Xi'an South Announces New Appointments

Wyndham Grand Xi’an South is proud to announce the appointment of the following key positions:

Mr. Frank P. Rudis, General Manager
Mr. Frank P. Rudis, a Danish national, is General Manager of the Wyndham Grand Xi’an South. A dynamic European trained hotelier, with experience spanning over 3 continents, several luxury brands and in both city hotels and resorts. Frank will lead his team in overseeing all aspects of the hotel opening and operations.


Ms. Angela Zhang, Executive Assistant Manager
With over 20 years of experience and having held senior management positions with many hotel groups, Ms. Angela Zhang brings with her enormous hotel operation and human resource knowledge. As an accomplished professional with a renowned reputation and track record in the industry, she will be expected to lead the team to provide residents a new level of unparalleled luxury and service in Xi’an.


Ms. Shirley Li, Director of Sales & Marketing
Ms. Shirley Li brings more than 15 years working experience in hospitality industry and over 8 years working experience in sales and marketing as well as team management. With rich hotel management experience in sales and marketing, Ms. Li will lead the team to achieve great hotel market performance and reinforce the positioning as the leading luxurious hotel in Xi’an.


Ms. Ling Zhang, Director of Finance
Ms. Ling Zhang comes from a 20-year hospitality background with hotel pre-opening and finance experience. She has held senior positions in many international five-star hotels. Benefiting from these valuable experiences, she will be responsible for the hotel finance management and will also provide strategic direction for the management team of Wyndham Grand Xi’an South.


Ms. Ivy Zhang, Assistant Director of Human Resource
As a seasoned hotelier with 13-year experience in human resource management, Ms. Ivy Zhang brings with her a wealth of experience. Ivy will play an instrumental role in hotel team building and human resource management in both pre-opening and post-opening era of the hotel.


Mr. Charles Zhao, Director of Rooms
Mr. Charles Zhao, a 15-year hotel industry veteran. Before his current role, he has held senior management positions and worked for a number of leading brands. Due to his extensive experience in five-star hotel Rooms Management and Operation, he will be able to add new energy and inspiration to Wyndham Grand Xi’an South.


Ms. Karen Chen, Director of Housekeeping
With a distinguished 20-year career, Ms. Karen Chen has held many managerial positions at various international hotels, where she gained vast knowledge of luxury hotel housekeeping and operations. With her experience and enthusiasm, Ms. Chen will lead her professional team to achieve excellence and let our guests to feel like staying at home.


Mr. Alan Zhang, Assistant Director of Engineering
Mr. Alan Zhang has a career in the industry spans more than 20 years and has been worked for a series of famous hotels and international companies. He is passionate about hospitality industry and especially in engineering division. There’s no doubt that Alan will help the hotel to create memorable experience for the guests by our incomparable facilities in town.


Mr. Eric Tao, Executive Chef in Charge of F&B
Mr. Eric Tao has more than 13 years of culinary experience in the hospitality sector.  Throughout his gastronomic journey, he has had the opportunity to work in various types of establishments in the industry. With the extensive background in hotel operations specializing in large scale Food & Beverage ventures, he is well placed to lead the diverse teams and manage them to provide outstanding products and service.


Mr. Leon Zhao, Director of Lost Prevention
Mr. Leon Zhao joins the team with a wealth of knowledge and over 15 years industry experience. His mastery of security and safety management enables him to have unique view on how to make the hotel to be a safe venue for various important functions and events. He will build and manage the hotel Security team for the safety of the property, guests and employees.
